in total it's obvious how awful the NOLA region is. people from there are enthralled by it none the less. i think it's like the people who live in the gutters of calcutta. they don't know anything else. that's why only 10% of the people flooded out by katrina have returned. once they live somewhere else they realise how awful the region is.

it ain't so bad once you get use to it. they live lives of lingering sickness to death.
we thank god every day we left there.
